"மர்மயோகி"யால் கமலுக்கு லீகல் பிரச்சினை!

மர்மயோகி கைவிடப்பட்டதால், சில பணப்பிரச்சினைகள் ஒழுங்காக செட்டில் பண்ணப்படவில்லை என்று தோன்றுகிறது.

சிதம்பரம் என்கிற ஒரு வக்கீல், பிரமிட் சாய்மீரா நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில், கமலுக்கு (ராஜ் கமல் பிக்ச்சர்ஸ்) ஒரு லீகல் நோட்டிஸ் அனுப்பியுள்ளார்.

CHENNAI: An entertainment company has issued a legal notice to Rajkamal Films International and actor Kamal Hasan seeking return with interest of Rs. 10.90 crore which had been paid pursuant to a memorandum of understanding in respect of a joint venture project of Tamil picture “Marmayogi.”

In his notice, counsel A. Chidambaram said his client Pyramid Saimira Production International Ltd., had entered into the MoU for the project at an estimated budget of Rs. 100 crore. The notice said it was unfortunate that though Rs. 10.90 crore had been received by Rajkamal Films and the actor, they had failed either to confirm the crew or commenced the production of “Marmayogi”. Besides not refunding the amount with 24% interest, the two had started own production of Tamil and Telugu versions of “Unnaipol Oruvan” by diverting the funds received from Pyramid Saimira Production. The notice warned that failure to return the amount would invite court proceedings, both civil and criminal.
